This is apparently a rough approximation of somebody I’m told wil be my future wife. Will you help me find her? I’ve never seen this apparently magical, mystery woman who wears glasses and was reading a Gary Shteyngart book that I’ve been reading to read, but haven’t gotten around to yet. Thankfully, my friend didn’t think to snap a picture of her, but did spend his morning assembly a picture of her from pictures of other people on the internet. But if it work for Jim Carrey in “The Truman Show,” this will work for me too right? Except now, we have the internet, and the crowd and all that great stuff that Clay Shirkey and James Surowiecki have written about. Also, there was that guy who saw that chick on the subway and then they met and it was all amazing after that right? Of course, we weren’t on the same subway… and I live in Washington, D.C. So everybody, let’s put the crowds to work and find this girl who was reading “Absurdistan” on an uptown bound express A train last seen at the 59th Street stop around 10:22 p.m. on November, 21, 2011.
