I attempted to sleep throug this one
It takes on serious political junkie to really still be interested in this extended primary season. I thought I had my fill, until I flipped on CNN before I went to bed and saw Obama leading with 30 percent in N. Carolina, and Clinton barely squeaking by in Indiana. I wasn’t able to sleep for the rest of the night. I tried, I really tried, but I wanted to see Obama make a surging comeback in Indiana. This didn’t happen. The election cycle will continue until the super delegates finally make up their mind, or until the Hillbill comes to her senses, but as Dana Milbank points out this isn’t going to happen anytime soon.
“I mean, why can’t he close the deal?” she taunted her front-running rival. To her, the fact that Obama hasn’t outright won the nomination of the party means that she is in fact the better candidate. God only knows what kind of absurd logic is running through her mind. I’m starting to wonder if she will even give up once the super delegates have decided that Obama is the nominee. I don’t hate her, but dammit I’m getting close. When even Drudge is calling Obama the nominee, it’s time to step down.
