Feel my pain

I accepted a temporary job earlier this year, and the absolute worst part about it was one of my editors.

From the start I was told he was going to be a nightmare, and they were right. The problem was that he thought I was great, and wouldn’t leave me alone.

Now, I thought he just had bad news judgment, was a shitty writer, and a really poor understanding of the web, but I didn’t think he was a total moron. At least not until he sent out this e-mail.

Please let everyone know if any of the shows are planning to do interviews around the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks?

I think it would be worthwhile if we can find new or interesting angle… talk to some of the lesser known agencies such as Agriculture or FDA about how their homeland security role has changed over time.

Thoughts?

Let’s ignore the fact that every part of this e-mail is pretty painful and just focus on the fact that either he thinks 9/11 happened in 2003 or he think it’s the year 2007. It can’t even be a typo. This e-mail pretty well summarized my daily frustrations for two months.
